Position Overview

As a vital member of our café team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and processing transactions accurately.
  • Crafting beverages and serving products in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Building rapport with customers by remembering their names and favorite orders.
  • Adhering to all cash handling and payment processing guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the café, ensuring floors and seating areas are tidy and free from debris.
  • Restocking and organizing supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Preparing items for subsequent shifts, including measuring out coffee beans and preparing food items.
  • Complying with safe food handling practices at all times.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer relations is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Able to solve problems effectively and pay attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists, along with bending, reaching, and kneeling.
  • Visual acuity for close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.

  • Work conducted in various indoor settings, including areas that may be refrigerated, wet, or noisy.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents.
  • Team-oriented atmosphere within a fast-paced, smoke-free facility.
