Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operational aspects of multiple concurrent projects to ensure quality, completeness, and adherence to schedules. Lead project scope management, change control, and action item tracking throughout the project lifecycle, recognizing that projects vary in type, size, and complexity.

Implement suitable project management methodologies, processes, and standards; stay informed about and disseminate best practices and techniques for effectively planning and managing cross-functional, multi-workstream projects.

Utilize project management and business software to create, schedule, and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to accommodate evolving needs and requirements.

Identify and allocate appropriate project resources, assigning responsibilities for individual tasks; analyze and report on resource consumption while resolving related issues. Manage cross-functional resources, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely task completion. Assist in vendor relationship management and participate in contract negotiation/management as required.

Recognize and address project risks and issues; resolve or escalate these issues promptly.

Gather project metrics to conduct thorough analyses of project performance and impact forecasts.

Generate documentation to ensure timely project reporting; effectively communicate relevant project information to all stakeholders. Ensure that project documents are accurate, complete, current, and properly archived throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuously seek opportunities for personal and collective improvement among project managers, offering constructive suggestions for ongoing leadership, management, and professional development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of business experience, including formal or informal project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and computer skills
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience in telecommunications
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint)
