Staff Software Engineer - Technical Lead

This role offers every opportunity to achieve your goals and help others accomplish theirs. As a Staff Software Engineer - Technical Lead, you'll partner with the project team to provide estimates, quality, and accuracy of technical designs, build, and implementation.

You'll understand and implement the overall technical vision for projects, programs, and systems, considering cross-functional impacts, integration across the organization, and architecture rationalization.

Work closely with the architecture team to ensure that technical solution designs and implementation are consistent with the architectural vision.

Collaborate with development teams, BA's, App managers, QA test leads, and architects using Agile methodology.

Oversee technical deliverables, coach, and mentor junior developers, and provide technical leadership.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience with Guidewire, Java, or related technologies development.

Key qualifications include 5 years of experience with Guidewire software development, Claim Center development, GOSU code language development, and 5 years of experience in end-to-end application build processes and performance tuning Java stack applications.

Additional requirements include Java and J2EE technologies, GitHub, Spring Batch, Web Services, SQL, SOAP API, and The Hartford Fire Insurance Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Actual base pay may vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role.
