FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $78,000 to $80,000
New Hire Bonus: $3,000
Position Summary: The Lead Clinician is responsible for the center's clinical operations, administration, and oversight of the clinical services for Unaccompanied Children. The Lead Clinician is responsible for implementing treatment protocols approved by the RCS, developing behavioral plans, assessments, conducting utilization review, and evaluation of the program and services after unification with sponsor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Operations: Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality services for Unaccompanied Children.
- Staff Supervision: Provide direct supervision to clinical staff, including Behavioral Specialists, to ensure they have the necessary skills and support to provide effective services.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Supervisor to develop and implement program goals and objectives that align with the center's mission and vision.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with ORR and clinical documentation deadlines.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and sponsors to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and developments in clinical social work to ensure the center's services remain current and effective.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other relevant behavioral science.
- Experience: 2 years of post-graduate direct service delivery experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- License: Active licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish required.
Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality services to Unaccompanied Children. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
