The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax accounting, compliance, and planning, including:

  • Preparing and reviewing MPS's quarterly and annual tax provision and tax return
  • Working with third-party service providers to support our domestic and international operations
  • Managing state and local tax matters, including direct and indirect taxes
  • Assisting the broader Finance organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tax provision process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and review of quarterly tax provision and tax accounting for stock-based compensation
  • Coordinate with external auditors for timely review of tax provision
  • Manage supporting documents and memos
  • Prepare and review federal, international, and state income tax returns, including all related support
  • Analyze sales, use, and property tax requirements

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Master's Degree in Taxation preferred
  • US GAAP accounting knowledge with 7+ years' experience, preferably including Big 4 tax
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and general systems applications
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision

Benefits:

MPS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care coverage, dental and vision, 401(K), Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), up to 11 company-paid holidays, and days of paid time off depending on tenure, generous discretionary company bonuses, and life and disability protection. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000.00 to $170,000.00.
