MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The maintenance team is essential to our operations, guaranteeing that all equipment functions efficiently to meet production demands. Our Maintenance Technicians are valued as versatile team members, responsible for the repair and upkeep of various packaging, meat processing, and labeling machinery. If you possess a knack for creative problem-solving and prioritize safety, we would like to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on assigned machinery.
  • Assist in training full-time staff on the safe and effective operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Department Manager to identify and resolve issues that lead to downtime, product waste, and inefficiencies.
  • Complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks accurately.
  • Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Basic understanding of robotics operation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of lubrication techniques and product application.
  • Capability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools, with an understanding of machine shop practices.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance, including installation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electronics, programmable controllers, and both single-phase and three-phase systems.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methods, along with a commitment to ongoing training.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding of various metals.
  • General knowledge of poly film machine operations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong safety mindset.
