Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Implement effective process improvement methods to ensure non-stop production in a safe, profitable, and efficient manner.
  • Leadership and Performance Management: Provide leadership to staff, assess performance, and direct all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing, adhering to, and enforcing company business standards and safety programs.
  • Quality Control: Assist in maintaining a quality control program to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Production Records: Prepare and maintain accurate production records by assisting the Plant Manager with production entry when necessary.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred.
