Key Responsibilities of a Retail Merchandising Specialist:

  • Work autonomously on assigned routes.
  • Drive an average of 120 miles daily (route-dependent).
  • Handle cash transactions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Engage in physical tasks, including cleaning and maintenance.
  • Utilize hand tools for equipment repairs.

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you will:

  • Operate a company vehicle to visit multiple locations on a designated route.
  • Thoroughly clean amusement machines, including cranes, gumball machines, and video games.
  • Ensure product presentation within machines is appealing and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Collect cash and coins from machines, preparing daily deposits as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and collaborate with Tech Support via Microsoft Teams.
  • Safeguard all cash, machines, and merchandise during your route.
  • Occasionally assist other field personnel with equipment installation and removal.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license for DOT compliance.
  • Strong mathematical skills are essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic machine repairs is preferred.
  • Proficient in using a cell phone and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment, including lifting and physical activity.
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record check, background check, and drug screening.
  • Overnight travel may be required as needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
  • DOT certification is mandatory.
