SUMMARY:
Responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products, components, and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembles units, exhaust fans, house doors, damper hoods, and fabricates pan rings according to job specifications.
Refines burred surfaces using files and grinders.
Installs and secures metal or wood flooring and/or coverings.
Applies primer, paint, and caulk as necessary.
Completes close-up requirements.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Ability to interpret structural drawings.
Familiarity with 6S methodology.
Basic mathematical skills.
Basic reading and writing abilities.
Knowledge of fundamental hand tools.
Ability to read and comprehend a tape measure.
Proficiency in using a paintbrush.
Capability to operate an air-assisted paint gun.
Understanding of various flooring types.
Knowledge of metal types and gauging.
Ability to utilize pneumatic and hydraulic hand tools.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with three to six months of relevant experience and/or training.
