As a key member of the Mountain Chevrolet team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Your duties will include:
- Operating the switchboard telephone system to efficiently manage incoming calls
- Communicating with callers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
- Providing basic information to callers with general inquiries, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and expertise
- Preparing sales and service gas tickets for the accounting department, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion
- Serving as a backup to the sales department cashier, handling cash, checks, and credit card payments with precision and attention to detail
- Assisting the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed, supporting the team's efforts to deliver exceptional service
- Receiving cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and recording the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
- Working with department managers to stay up-to-date on new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price
- Handling customer complaints with integrity and poise, taking or referring the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be available to work Saturdays
- Be bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- possess excellent communication and organizational skills
- have experience using Microsoft Office suite
- be able to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
