Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist Certified to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile instrument tables and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist in positioning patients and preparing their skin for surgery.
- Monitor and maintain sterile techniques to prevent breaches in technique.
- Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to the surgical team during procedures.
- Assist in monitoring patients during procedures.
- Gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization after procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CAAHEP, NCCT, NBSTSA).
- BLS (American Heart or American Red Cross) certification.
- Experience in hospital-based surgical tech roles preferred.
