Job Summary

As a skilled Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Endoscopy department. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for meeting the psychosocial and physical needs of patients, ensuring a safe and effective care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for procedures in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely and correctly, adhering to regulatory agency requirements and hospital policies.
  • Turn over rooms efficiently, maintaining a high level of productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of diseases and conditions, and the care required.
  • Perform patient care under the direction of an RN or Physician, prioritizing patient safety and reducing the likelihood of healthcare errors.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible and composed under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
