We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Modeling and Simulation Team Lead to join our team at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI). As a key member of our Digital Transformation team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a dedicated team of analysts and engineers in developing and executing detailed mission-level analytic studies in support of DoD organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of modeling and simulation experts to ensure the technical excellence of study efforts and drive innovative solutions to meet organizational goals.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and resolve any issues that arise during the execution of various ongoing M&S efforts.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of modeling and simulation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and meet all analytical objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for modeling and simulation initiatives that align with organizational goals and identify and address technical challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in modeling and simulation technologies and methodologies and promote best practices and drive continuous improvement in modeling techniques and processes.
- 7+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Experience with mission-level modeling and simulation methodologies and tools (i.e., AFSIM, Suppressor, or EADSIM), as well as strong programming skills in object-oriented languages such as Python or C++.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a flexible approach to tackling new challenges.
- Active Secret Clearance to start (TS/SCI desired).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
