We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform prescribed ultrasound procedures using various equipment to obtain preliminary echocardiographic measurements.
- Must be competent at performing adult echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and contrast studies.
- Follow department imaging protocols, acquire all echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports for the interpreting physician, and verbally communicate preliminary findings when necessary.
- Prepare, supply, and equip ultrasound rooms to meet specific cardiologist and physician requirements for procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Accredited Program Required: Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Preferred: CAAHEP accredited with emphasis
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a cardiac sonographer
