Job Title: Van Driver - LEAP Program

Job Summary:

The Van Driver will transport clients between designated locations throughout Cincinnati, ensuring their safety and security while providing a reliable and efficient transportation service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open vehicle doors for passengers to enter and exit
  • Ensure passengers feel safe and secure
  • Ensure timely conveyance of passengers to their destination
  • Keep vehicles neat and tidy at all times
  • Carry out routine checks on vehicles
  • Identify electrical and mechanical faults and report concerns to the supervisor
  • Read maps and check weather and traffic reports to determine the best time to travel and the best route to take
  • Discuss current events with clients
  • Assist in planning the monthly calendar and outings
  • Assist with outings and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Good driving record and valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 25 years of age per insurance qualifications
  • Must be able to meet underwriting criteria and be approved as an Agency Driver
  • Comfortable navigating through Cincinnati

Physical Demands:

  • Positional: driving in accordance with job duties assigned, occasional standing and walking, constant sitting
  • Gross Mobility: rare climbing, or crawling, infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, frequent to constant reaching and handling
  • Sensory: rare tasting/smelling, infrequent use of color vision, occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision, frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation, frequent to constant talking
