Job Summary

Medacare Transportation Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver to transport high school-aged children to their destinations. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation, demonstrating excellent defensive driving skills, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation to high school-aged children.
  • Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervise safe passenger loading and unloading from the vehicle.
  • Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of the riders.
  • Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to the needs of our customers and riders.
  • Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
  • Maintain clean assigned vehicle(s), both interior and exterior, for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
  • Complete paperwork as required.
  • Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Possess a continuously valid US driver's license for at least 2 years.
  • Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid Ohio Class D license or the ability to obtain Ohio, Issued Driving License.
  • No DWI/DUI.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Must be able to pass T-8 physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must pass criminal background check investigation.
  • Living in Cincinnati Area.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
