We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art healthcare environment, utilizing cutting-edge imaging equipment to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

  • As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams, verifying patient identity, and reviewing medical records for appropriateness of exams or procedures.
  • You will interview patients to obtain medical history, assess risk factors, and explain procedures, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up instructions.
  • Set up equipment, acquire images as per script, review images, and communicate data to radiologists.
  • You will also provide post-care instructions to patients, participate in process improvement activities, and provide imaging education to residents, students, and new employees.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • Able to take call/standby as required by the department.
