Job Title: Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and emergency services to child victims and families as needed, in English or Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct forensic psychosocial evaluations of Spanish-speaking children and adolescents referred for child maltreatment
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency services to child victims and families as needed, in English or Spanish
  • Facilitate and lead Trauma-Focused support group for parents of child abuse victims
  • Train Master's level social work and psychology students to co-lead Spanish-speaking group sessions
  • Provide trauma-focused individual and group therapy to child victims and families in Spanish
  • Develop and monitor patient treatment plans with goals, measurable objectives and outcomes
  • Maintain timely progress notes necessary for documentation in medical records
  • Provide training in child abuse and neglect to hospitals, community agencies, schools and to other professionals in the field of child maltreatment
  • Train Master's level social work and psychology students in TF-CBT for Spanish speaking populations
Requirements:
  • Master's degree (or higher) in psychology or social work
  • NJ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or License-eligible psychologist with NJ permit (Ph.D., Psy. D.)
  • Bi-Lingual
