About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cook to join our hospital kitchen team at Ridgeview Institute Monroe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to approved menu cycles and production sheets
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and meet food safety standards
  • Follow recipes and cooking procedures to produce high-quality dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • Handle and store ingredients and food properly to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of modified diets and food service sanitation
  • Training in food service sanitation and experience using industrial kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Prior kitchen supervisory experience is a plus
