Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry and ICU environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to adolescent through geriatric patient age groups.
  • Perform head-to-toe assessment on all patients in accordance with the nurse practice act.
  • Collect and accurately document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and wellness.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or other issues.
  • Develop personalized care plans for each patient and revise as necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A minimum of one year experience in an acute care facility, preferably in telemetry and/or critical care.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas or compact equivalent.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 30 days of start date.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
