We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Clayens. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and meeting customer expectations.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description

The Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for performing routine inspections on materials and goods in-process, as well as auditing/inspecting product at various stages of the manufacturing process. This includes visual, functional, and dimensional inspections using programmed vision light and touch probe inspection systems.

You will also be responsible for identifying product with a product identification label, issuing tooling write-ups for quality problems, and accurately completing required quality and production reports and records using paper and electronic applications.

In addition, you will exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials, detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to your supervisor. You will also observe all safety rules and regulations, including wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions and techniques.
