At the Center for Applied Linguistics, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring the accessibility of our internet-based English language proficiency assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to making a positive impact on education and society.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the remediation of our QTI packages to bring them into compliance with WCAG requirements. This involves working closely with our Test Assembly Specialist, other technical specialists, client representatives, and third-party vendors to identify solutions and implement changes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software development project management, bug tracking systems, programming HTML, XML, and CSS, as well as experience with QTI 2.x and 3.x.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate code in QTI packages for issues related to WCAG compliance and investigate potential solutions.
  • Troubleshoot solutions in conjunction with the client and third-party vendors.
  • Manage timelines, project plans, and work batches to ensure timely completion of QTI remediation.
  • Manage internal and external workflows and maintain bug tracking software.
  • Update QTI packages for compliance to WCAG, performing HTML markup, CSS styling, and XML markup.

Compensation and Benefits
