Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet all guests with a warm welcome, maintain a proactive approach to guest service, and provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in accordance with standards, maintain knowledge of all menu items, and adhere to brand standards regarding food and beverage and service.
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist with the setup and cleanliness of the restaurant, clear and set up tables, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and other team members, use the Point of Sale (POS) system as required, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Six months of customer service, hotel, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong customer/client focus.
  • Certifications: Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces, use arms, hands, and legs repetitively, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Visual and Auditory Demands: Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, and sense of smell, and be able to work in mentally and physically stressful situations.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work with cleaning chemicals, warm temperatures, and all food products.
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly carry and balance up to 25 pounds without assistance.
