Fleet Maintenance Technician

NHT Logistics, Inc. is a family-owned trucking and cold storage company. We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for truck and trailer repair and maintenance as directed by the Shop Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair problems related to electrical, mechanical, air, and hydraulic systems
- Evaluate equipment for safety issues
- Learn proficiency in Emdecs Kona fleet management software
- Provide detailed reports of work performed and repairs made to equipment
- Properly and safely use tools
- Safe use of lifting equipment and jack stands
- Keep a clean and safe work environment
- Adjust to changing work schedules and emergencies
- Ability to work alone while in the shop
- Learn new service, maintenance, and repair procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent experience
- Previous experience as a Mechanic
- Possess a basic knowledge and skill set in diesel/trailer mechanics
