Assistant Professor of Psychology

Initial salary placement is determined by academic qualifications, graduate-level coursework completed, and relevant professional experience according to the applicable faculty contract.
Key Responsibilities
The instructional duties may encompass, but are not limited to, teaching various levels of Psychology courses at the college, including:
- Biological Psychology
- Biological Psychology Laboratory
- Research Methods in Psychology
- Introductory Statistics for Behavioral Sciences
- A master's degree in psychology; OR, a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work; OR, an equivalent qualification. All degrees must be from an accredited institution.
- A focus on equity, with sensitivity and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical or learning disabilities, and the ability to foster an inclusive educational environment.
