At Schott Distributing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload products from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Operate trucks for the delivery of products following preset routes.
  • Collect payment or invoices from clients.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at end of shift.
  • Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
Requirements:
  • Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) in good standing.
  • No DWI/DUI in last 5 years.
  • Must obtain and hold DOT Health Card.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience as a truck driver.
Work Environment:

This position is performed in a warehouse or in a delivery truck/trailer with continuous stops at accounts. There is some exposure to weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move or otherwise handle objects up to 170 pounds (kegs).

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area may be expected.
