About the Role:

  • This is an ongoing opportunity to work on our Telemetry unit, providing patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
  • You'll be working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts during the day, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
  • This is a Staff position, providing opportunities for growth and development within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer medications to patients, monitoring for reactions and side effects, and documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  3. Provide education and guidance to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and maintain accurate medical records.
  4. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing care plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient.

Qualifications:

  • A current RN license to practice in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact is required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained prior to completion of orientation.
