Hospice Admissions Nurse

Empath Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a key member of our hospice care team, you will be responsible for processing admissions around the clock, managing late evening or night shifts, and delivering high-quality nursing services to our patients and their families.
About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity, working 4 days a week with a schedule of 11am-9:30pm. You will be required to meet weekly productivity targets and possess excellent assessment skills. A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience and a current Florida RN license are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process admissions around the clock
- Manage late evening or night shifts weekly
- Deliver nursing services per hospice standards
- Perform initial patient and family assessments
- Meet weekly productivity targets
Qualifications:
- AA degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current Florida RN license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Excellent assessment skills
- BLS CPR Certification
