This newly established role will focus on the development and maintenance of our Enterprise System Architecture (ESA), emphasizing the implementation and support of both existing and new workflows, reporting, analytics, and data interoperability across all cloud-based applications. The Cloud Solutions Business Analyst will ensure the smooth technical integration, configuration, optimization, and utilization of the company's cloud software. Qualifications for the Cloud Solutions Business Analyst:
- 8 years of experience with cloud-based applications, including analytics, implementation, and data management, as well as IT management or other information technology solutions architecture.
- Experience with data integration methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of networks and security in relation to integration and data flow between systems.
- Proven ability to lead project teams with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience in project management is advantageous.
- Prior experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud systems.
- Experience in managing integrations with external software and tools.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, databases, and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Key Responsibilities of the Cloud Solutions Business Analyst:
- Develop and enhance our ESA while engaging with business stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities across the organization.
- Recommend technology upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options, focusing on productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Lead requirement and design reviews to ensure traceability for proposed solution architecture.
- Collaborate with business and technology experts to implement comprehensive solutions that provide value and minimize reactive work.
- Oversee company-wide software upgrades, integrations, and implementations, modeling potential outcomes through planned change management.
- Develop training and support materials for end users regarding software upgrades and implementations.
- Participate in budget planning for technology maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the daily operations and performance of all cloud-based systems.
- Integrate business intelligence tools with various applications to enable real-time data analysis and reporting.
- Plan and manage cloud system upgrades and configurations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to security architecture.
- Facilitate monthly IT Steering Committee meetings, providing updates and prioritizing tasks.
