Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents/young adults residing in our facilities. The successful candidate will possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state applying for work and have experience in residential nursing.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and obtain and document vital signs in the medical record.
- Evaluate medical complaints/concerns from residents during on-site hours and relay information to the appropriate NP/MD.
- Complete treatment plans when indicated, provide direct care and nursing services to clients as prescribed by program regulations, and client health screening.
- Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures.
- Maintain records, including but not limited to Medication Administration Record, medical records, medical charts, infection control log, etc.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed.
- Comply with all mandated reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, infection control, etc.
- Possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state applying for work.
- Experience in residential nursing a plus.
- Applicable State Requirements: All States Must pass the applicable state/agency background check required for the work location jurisdiction, prior to employment. Pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a current and valid CPR certification or obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
