Job Title: Events Staff

Rocky Top Sports World is a premier sport, recreation and entertainment destination focused on improving the health and economic vitality of the community. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Staff member to join our championship-level team.

Job Summary:

The Events Staff will work closely with all aspects of day-to-day facility operations, assisting the Operations Team with pre-event, event, and post-event functions. This includes general facility and grounds maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep, as well as food and beverage assignments, marketing and sponsorship campaigns, guest services, and office support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown
  • Perform general facility maintenance and upkeep
  • Assist with food and beverage services
  • Support marketing and sponsorship campaigns
  • Provide excellent guest services and office support

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or willingness to obtain within a specified period
  • Food handling and cashier skills preferred

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions
  • Facility has intermittent noise
