QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by:
  • Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
  • Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience within the last 3 years.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current, unrestricted nursing license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from professional references within the last two years are required, detailing the candidate's skills and competencies.
  • Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
  • Citizenship: Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform all required duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify emergencies and execute appropriate responses, including resuscitation and application of medical protocols.
  • Implement isolation procedures and maintain universal precautions during patient interactions.
  • Assess patient populations needing nursing interventions and develop evaluation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to create comprehensive nursing care plans.
  • Coordinate care to ensure all patient needs are met, including assessment and follow-up.
  • Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including immunizations and IV therapies.
  • Monitor patient conditions and document relevant information regarding treatments.
  • Utilize patient care equipment according to operational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and statistics as required.
  • Manage specific patient populations, including those with chronic conditions.
  • Provide education on various health topics and assist with patient referrals.
  • Train staff in specialized nursing procedures.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Services are provided throughout the week, with shifts typically scheduled for 8.5, 9, or 12 hours, including an unpaid meal break.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong teamwork and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
