Criminal Justice Instructor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Criminal Justice Instructor to join our team at Alamance Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Criminal Justice courses to high school students, developing and implementing lesson plans, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Criminal Justice courses to high school students, including Criminal Justice I and II
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Use various teaching techniques to deliver course material, including lesson plans, chapter tests, power points, and guest speakers
  • Develop and use assessments to evaluate student learning

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Three to five years of experience in the criminal justice or related profession
