As a Welder at Trinity, your responsibilities will include applying various welding techniques to join, surface, fabricate, and repair metal components or other weldable materials. This will be done in accordance with layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute hand welding in all positions, including fillet and groove joints.
  • Conduct repairs on subassemblies for the final product.
  • Perform oxy-fuel welding tasks.
  • Utilize carbon arc welding techniques.
  • Carry out one or two non-destructive testing (NDE) procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices.
  • Participate in safety committees or initiatives as needed.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG and FCAW welding processes is essential.
  • FCAW certification (2G, 3G & 4G) is required.
  • Capability to weld in various positions, including vertical and overhead.
  • Ability to work at heights (15 ft or more) may be necessary.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders or stairs to access materials.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces for extended durations.
  • Physical strength and dexterity are required for the tasks.
  • Tasks may involve extensive kneeling, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
