Job Title: Machine Shop Operator

Location: Mayville, WI


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, set-up, and adjust NC/CNC lathes and/or machining centers to produce parts within required tolerances.
  • Assist Machinists or Lead persons in producing high-quality parts.
  • Perform first-piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety rules and regulations.
  • Record productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints to produce parts within required tolerances.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers and dial calipers to ensure part quality.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare production reports.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment properly.
