Job Description:

As a Product Owner at Old Republic Title, you will be responsible for driving the development of strategic product features that solve business problems and deliver high-quality technology products. This is a hybrid-office position that requires regular attendance in one of our locations, and you will be accountable to a senior leader of Agency Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the technology product strategy in line with product vision and roadmap, focusing on the delivery of product roadmap features.
  • Articulate, build, refine, and maintain the product backlog items.
  • Prioritize backlog items to best achieve product goals and ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team to translate the product roadmap features into well-defined User Stories, including requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize User Stories for the Scrum team.
  • Continuously engage with the Scrum team to answer questions and remove roadblocks to ensure successful delivery of product features.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Participate in End User Demos and gather feedback for future product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments, including development, design, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment to deliver high-quality and consistent products to our organization's users.
  • Develop change management plans and communication efforts to support adoption and ensure business readiness for changes.
  • Accountable for maximizing the value of the product team.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in title/settlement or related fields or 3 years experience in the settlement software industry desired.
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Product Owner with demonstrated success.
  • SAFe or Scrum Alliance Product Owner certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and customer service skills that cultivate strong working relationships across the product team.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Physical/Mental Demands:
  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers by email, phone, and in person.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions and deadlines throughout the workday.
  • Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
  • Ability to maintain trusted and confidential information.
  • Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required.
  • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors are required.

The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
