Responsibilities:

We are looking for a compassionate Companion caregiver who is committed to improving the quality of life for our senior residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and assistance tailored to each resident's Plan of Care, developed collaboratively with the Community Wellness Coordinator and the resident or their family.
  • Monitoring the resident's environment and behaviors for potential hazards, reporting any unsafe situations to your supervisor, and making necessary adjustments with the resident's or family's consent.
  • Participating in the orientation of new staff members as directed.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including timely completion of Incident Reports.
Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in caring for elderly clients is required, with home care experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
