About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Neurovascular Unit Lead to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This leadership role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the neurovascular unit, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that staff are empowered to deliver their best.

Responsibilities

\
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the neurovascular unit, including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation\
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction\
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve patient goals\
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork

Requirements

\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program\
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire\
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire\
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire\
  • At least three years of nursing experience, including leadership or management roles\
  • Strong leadership and communication skills\
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
