About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpecialtyRx, a leading long-term care pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining Cubex inventory, troubleshooting issues with the Cubex technology, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Cubex inventory and restock cubies daily to ensure seamless medication dispensing.
  • Run reports on the Q-link system to monitor inventory levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle all Cubex-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Visit clients to perform audits of medication and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and exchanging emergency drug kits.
  • Prepare finished prescription products, including labeling and packaging.
  • Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose of them according to procedure.
  • Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications and replenish stock as needed.
  • Package materials and products manually, following all applicable regulations.
  • Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
Requirements
  • Nationally certified and OH BOP certified Pharmacy Technician.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of brand name/generic medications.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Able to work at a moderate speed and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
