The Role:
We're seeking a skilled Cafe Ambassador to join our team at Capital One. As a Cafe Ambassador, you'll be at the heart of our community, introducing customers to our best-in-class services and creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring the Cafe experience and our brand to life by creating an inclusive environment where all customers and team members feel welcome.
- Proactively engage with customers and the community in all areas of the Cafe, helping with tech challenges, showcasing our services and products, and having deeper conversations about their financial journeys.
- Guide customers through goal setting, meeting them where they are and advocating for better financial literacy through discovery and Capital One resources.
- Be a team player and work with an energized team of Ambassadors, inspiring teammates as they inspire you.
- Stay curious, adaptable, and have a desire to learn and grow through self-development.
- Continually learn new digital and technical skills.
- Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, charities, and the Engagement team to plan events both inside and outside of the Cafe.
- Volunteer within the community and be an advocate for financial literacy.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
- At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience preferred.
- Proficient in G-Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
