The primary objective of this role is to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their well-being is maintained. As a Registered Nurse in our Long Term Care facility, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of Certified Nursing Assistants and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Direct and supervise nursing care to residents, ensuring that it is delivered in accordance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of Certified Nursing Assistants, providing feedback and coaching to ensure that they are meeting the needs of residents.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
- RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification
- Long Term Care experience preferred, but not required
- New Graduate Nurses will be considered on an individual basis
