Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at IOC Company LLC, a leading road and highway construction company in south Texas. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery, including backhoes, loaders, excavators, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Lubricate equipment grease points daily to prevent wear and tear.
  • Monitor equipment hours and schedule maintenance as needed.
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances to ensure accuracy.
  • Work in various weather conditions and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Work overtime as required and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in construction or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work outdoors in all elements and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Class C license (preferred).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
