About the Role:
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator will provide best-in-class security customer service, prompt communication delivery, and support to each operational/support function and location within their scope.
The SOC Operator is responsible for all internal security operations tasks, communication flow and resource management for the company's personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists as the technical expert on all SOC matters, including monitoring and responding to all facilities and properties under their control.
- Assists with collecting client intelligence, operations, and the communication of time-sensitive security tactics for strategic executive management.
- Assists SOC leadership with compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, corporate policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Promotes an environment of professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement to meet the Corporation's operational goals and objectives.
- Maintains highly qualified and motivated SOC staff that support the overall business mission, goals, and objectives.
Requirements:
- One or more years of SOC-like work experience
- One or more years inside a Security Operations environment
- Experience in call centers, agile project management, and leadership
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
- Experience with managing a diverse group of technologically oriented members
