Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as a Transportation Sealing Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fluid sealing solutions for the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent VSP Technologies' approach to fluid sealing management for the transportation industry, including rail tank cars, ISO tanks, and tank trailers.
  • Drive industry-leading training programs at repair shops and loading/unloading facilities to ensure mutual client specifications are being followed.
  • Support and collaborate with territory repair shops to ensure client specifications are being met.
  • Identify and propose sealing solutions within the assigned territory.
  • Document the cost impact of your work and solutions.
  • Become a fluid sealing expert within the assigned territory.
  • Act as a conduit between clients, repair shops, and the VSP Technologies department.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage client interactions and sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or a High School Diploma with 5 years minimum rail tank car maintenance experience in lieu of a college degree.
  • Customer service interactions, support, and sales experience.
  • Transportation experience (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing techniques (preferred).
