Furnace Operator III

This Furnace Operator III role is a critical position within our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining assigned machine/equipment, following paperwork flow, QA, and Shop Floor policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and be able to evaluate product quality and perform minor adjustments to equipment to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate and maintain assigned machine/equipment
* Follow paperwork flow, QA, and Shop Floor policies and procedures
* Operate furnaces using the Distributive Control System
* Maintain required heat-treating records
* Adhere to strict parts specifications
* Learn and understand Lean Manufacturing concepts
* Evaluate product quality and perform minor adjustments to equipment to meet quality standards
* Assist Shift Lead and Furnace Operator as needed
Requirements:
* Typically requires a HS diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience required
