Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Float Nurse in the MedSurg and Critical Care departments. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex care to patients in accordance with treatment plans, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, modifying them as needed to meet individual patient needs, using evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient safety.
  • Participate in unit operations, including staffing, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe environment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of combined experience in MedSurg and Critical Care or Emergency Department required.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
  • BLS required.
Work Schedule and Type

PRN, Per Diem As Needed.
