Job Summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Produce Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our receiving and inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our perishable goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Verify all inbound perishable loads to ensure accurate quantities and quality.
  • Communicate daily with buyers and warehouse management to address any issues related to perishable items.
  • Monitor and report any temperature deviations or other quality control issues.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure proper storage and handling of perishable goods.
  • Perform daily quality inspections and document any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management to ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of produce experience in a foodservice, retail, or grower/shipper environment.
  • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a strong attention to detail.
