We are currently seeking a Prepress Technician to enhance our Large Format team. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented group dedicated to delivering outstanding products to our clients.

The Prepress department is expanding rapidly, featuring various centers of excellence, including prep, storefront portals, variable direct mail, layout, graphic design, and color management. Shift Details: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Additional $3.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked after 5:00 PM) (hybrid work environment between office and remote locations)

Key Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in prepress for print production is essential.
  • Experience with large format printing and mailing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Adobe software used for premedia setup.

Essential Skills:

  • Attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and adherence to deadlines while meeting company quality standards.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive in identifying customer and corporate needs.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve problems effectively and creatively.
  • Excellent time management and self-management abilities.
  • Understanding of confidentiality regarding company, employee, and customer information.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify that files and layouts contain all necessary components; check colors to ensure they match the desired outcome; confirm file resolution.
  • Prepare files to align with the original art design.
  • Ensure files are print-ready; confirm files are imposed and arranged to maximize substrate yield and compatibility with print devices.
  • Document and name files accurately, and convert files to a printer-compatible format while ensuring proper color handling.
  • Utilize computers and systems (hardware and software) to set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Adhere to all company protocols and procedures as per established standards.
  • Employ strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals and ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
