Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Team Member. As a key member of our studio team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client experiences, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the overall operations of our studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Experience: Develop a deep understanding of our hospitality principles and processes, and execute them to deliver a world-class client experience.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Build and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients and staff, ensuring a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Communication: Provide timely and efficient communication to supervisors and co-workers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Client Service: Deliver exceptional client service at all times, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere in the studio.
  • Studio Maintenance: Assist with studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our studio retail operations, including products and promotions.
  • Scheduling: Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including working weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Fuel Bar Responsibilities:

  • Food Service: Deliver high-quality protein smoothies and exceptional customer service in the Fuel Bar.
  • Order Management: Handle pre-orders and orders on the spot, customizing each client's needs.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with questions and product selection, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Food Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitized Fuel Bar area, adhering to local, state, and federal health code regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare various Fuel Bar goods following company recipes.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Prepare studio spaces before, after, and in-between classes, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Deep Cleaning: Regularly deep clean, organize, and service common areas, including the lobby space, Fuel Bar, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas.
  • Repairs: Conduct small studio repairs as needed.
  • Laundry Services: Collect, wash, and fold towels, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Checklists: Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Ability to work a full-time schedule of at least 32 hours per week, 5 days per week, or a part-time schedule of at least 3 days per week.
  • Reliability: Maintain regular, consistent, and reliable attendance in the workplace.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and type, speak, read, and write for up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Communication: Ability to read, speak, write, and communicate effectively in English with coworkers, clients, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and respond to both predictable and unpredictable workplace issues in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Scheduling: Availability for two to five shifts, including one weekend day.
  • Personality: Friendly, outgoing personality, with a passion for social interaction.
  • Enthusiasm: Exhibits enthusiasm for the studio and the job, with a can-do attitude.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Cleaning Skills: Exceptional cleaning skills, with a clear understanding of what constitutes a sanitary environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Has an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as a cohesive team with all Barry's staff members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Professionalism: Maintains a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
