Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and adjacent inpatient unit
  • Manage the care of boarders, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and coordination of admissions to inpatient units
  • Work closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Successfully adapt to the transition from Medicine to Emergency Medicine, effective January 1, 2024
  • Participate in ongoing training and educational programs related to emergency medicine practices
Requirements:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
